Weeded and filled in the comfrey patch.Some of the root cuttings planted last year didn’t take. Those empty spots were now planted by dividing the strongest looking crowns.As a side effect, we now have a bunch of root cuttings to plant in other places.

Mowed the entire comfrey patch.The plan was to just mow between the rows but it was overgrown and quite a few comfreys were flowering already.It’s all mowed now, hopefully the comfrey can outrun the grass and weeds 🤷♂️

Mowing between the rows of the comfrey patch.The grass we sowed there to act as food for the comfrey is thriving. So much so, that weeding the rows themselves is going to be quite a bit of work.
