Using an electric (plug in) hedge trimmer to break down branchy biomass dropped off by the cleaning crew.

We've been struggling to process and move all the incoming stuff with the little shredder we have. Bigger chippers are expensive and (wanting to avoid gas powered ones) not that much more powerful.

It turns out that this hedge trimmer that we already had can do a reasonably good job much faster, which is nice.

Pro tip: it works better if you don't cut into the power extension cord 🥺 (hi David!)
