Scenes from the 54mm of rainfall we got today.

The west swale and its spill basin overflowed, but water keeps pooling and slowly moving down the landscape. There's definitely to for improvement, but the overall water catchment plan seems to be working well so far.

The last photo shows the large amount of water gathered next to the railway. The light brown color suggests that it carried lots of topsoil with it. Unlike previous years, most of it should no longer be from our garden.
