Our favorite duck passed away this week

Our favorite duck passed away this week.

She was part of the first batch of ducklings we got, and almost didn't make it through the first night. She grew strong and was the first one to hatch ducklings. In a way, she was the grandmother of most of the ducks we have now.

She looked mellow and tired for the past couple of weeks, sitting and chilling a lot but otherwise fine. Until one day this week. :(
