Our current morning activities include picking up snails from the vegetable garden and feeding them to the ducklings.

The snails are a healthy snack for ducks, so this ends up being a good, natural way to control the population. Still, a few cabbages were reduced to their stems.

Fortunately, we planted way more cabbages than we needed.
