Making JADAM wetting agent (JWA) for the first time! Nervously exciting because of the caustic chemical involved.

Mixed water, potassium hydroxide (caustic potash), and sunflower oil (instead of the canola oil from the recipe, which isn't easy to get here in bulk).

It wasn't clear when to stop mixing. The recipe says it should "look like thin mayo", but after mixing for almost 30mins it still looked more or less the same.

It's now supposed to sit for 3 days then get mixed with water.
