Melodies, Memories, and More: Reflecting on a Musical Spring with Music Together Silver

This spring has been a time of exciting beginnings for Music Together Silver Coast! We launched our program, offering families on the Silver Coast a unique chance to connect through music. We were thrilled to be the first and only Music Together center in Portugal to include the fantastic Rhythm Kids program, alongside our Mixed-Ages classes for little ones from birth to 4 years old.

Our beautiful garden in Salir do Porto provided the perfect backdrop for these musical adventures. Nestled under our all-weather bell tent, families sang, danced, and played along to a vibrant mix of music from around the world.

As with any new venture, we are in the process of growing and spreading the word about what we offer. Those who have experienced our program this spring have shared positive feedback, expressing their enjoyment and appreciation. However, we are eager to welcome even more families into our musical community. We believe in the power of music to bring people together, and we want as many people as possible to join us in this enriching experience.

Music Together was a highlight of our weeks when our kids were born, and the idea of bringing that to many other families is very appealing. Also, as more families join, we can really start feeling the power of community.

June will be a time for us to take a short break. We'll be giving our trusty bell tent some care, and taking a moment to reflect on the wonderful spring program. This is also a chance for us to put everything we learned into practice, as we prepare for an even more exciting summer program in July.

Our dreams for Alo Land are still shifting, but we know want to create a welcoming space in our garden, fostering a sense of community and connection for families, and Music Together fits right in.
