Tiny walnut sprout in the "nutty corner". The walnut was first germinated then sown in this spot. Let's see how it does - the grafted walnuts we planted two years ago don't seem to be thriving. #walnut #walnuttree #sprout #seedling

Tree planting time! Two macadamia and a passion fruit were liberated from their pots. Also took the opportunity to mulch the walnuts (although they didn't seem to mind not having it so far) and to replace a juniper that wasn't coming back to life. #treeplanting #macadamia

Very vigorous growth from the #rootstock of this #walnuttree. The grafted scion has buds but no leaves yet. We pruned the rootstock growth to support the scion.
