The pear tree: for the first time this late in the year it's disease free. In previous years, the leaves would turn black. Still no signs of flowers but it's looking so much better.

Plum tree: looking good, but very few fruits. It's not clear if something went wrong with the flowers or with the pruning.

Apple tree" Loaded with flowers, many clearly fertilised. 😋

Now we have the duck nursery all around the trees, so they are getting top notch care: the ducks keep the grass low, control the bug population and, of course, fertilise the soil. Because we are constantly give them fresh water, the trees get constant irrigation.

The trees provide shade and a hiding place when they spot birds of prey in the skies.

Win:win.
