The artichokes are doing great this year

The artichokes are doing great this year. Blossoming into their violet colours, putting up a show with their size and vigor, they are now attracting bees, bumblebees and this new visitor!

It is the violet carpenter bee / abelha carpinteira violeta - a huge and very shinny pollinator.
