It's complicated

It's complicated.

The geese have been laying eggs. This one has been sitting on them, mostly. They've been mating, kind of. I'm not sure if any of the eggs are fertilized.

She's been moving the nest away from its previous location, until the spot pictured which is halfway out of the coop and exposed to rain.

There's a rotten egg smell there and I found what looked like a failed egg attempt.

Will we get any goslings? 🤷‍♂️
