Because the new duck coops aren't ready yet, moving the ducks to a fresh strip of pasture involved some creative fencing work.

This apple tree was within the accessible area and before long, the drake was methodically trying to eat it (!).

We scared him away and moved the fence, but some damage was already done. Let's hope the tree will thrive regardless...
