Tiny walnut sprout in the “nutty corner”.The walnut was first germinated then sown in this spot.Let’s see how it does – the grafted walnuts we planted two years ago don’t seem to be thriving.

Trying to recondition the pasture strip which the ducks just left.After sowing a grass, clover, and alfalfa mix we raked and thinly (for lack of more material) covered with used coffee grounds.

The ducks got a fresh strip of pasture. Had to mow lines for the electric fence first, the grass has grown wild.
