Duck harvest day: 9 of the Khakis are, possibly for the first time in their high strung lives, chilling.This was a new record of ducks slaughtered and plucked in one morning. Still to do: gutting and butchering them, one of the coming days.

Harvesting myrtle / murtas, also known as wild blueberries.They are mostly used to make liquor so we are looking for alternatives, preferably healthy ones.For now, the main option is to make a compote.Any ideas?

The remaining geese are taking a vacation in the nursery area. They were sharing a pasture strip with the Khaki ducks, and were being complete bullies.
