Plumbing for interconnecting the 3 ponds. The idea is to top up water in the duck pond, which gets dirty very quickly. From there, it gets pumped into the west pond by a float switch controlled pump. Finally, it overflows downhill into the south pond through a pipe….
We lost all the grapes in the small vineyard that came with our plot. There has been so much rain they didn’t take it, and succumbed to funguses. This is a reinforcement that we want to continue betting on a diverse food forest. Where we have grapes together with other plants across the land, they are doing much better.
