Our approach is rooted in Montessori principles, forest therapy and mindfulness practice. Not as programmes to complete, but as ways of seeing children — and trusting what they’re capable of.
Music Together
For families with children from birth to age 10
Music Together is one of the world’s most loved early childhood music programmes — and we bring it to the most unlikely and perfect of stages: a living farm on Portugal’s Silver Coast.
Music Together is built on a simple truth: every child is born musical. The only thing it takes to nurture that gift is play, repetition, and the joy of making sound together — preferably with the people you love most.
Parents and carers participate fully. The music happens between you and your child — and between your family and others. It is one of the quietest and most powerful things you can do together.
Mindfulness in Nature
For children and teenagers
Each session is shaped entirely around one child, on one day, in one particular mood. Sometimes we work with clay. Sometimes we climb trees. Sometimes we sit under one and listen. Sometimes we follow the geese.
Parents may participate, stay nearby, or take a walk — whatever feels right for that child on that day.
Inês is a certified Connected Kids mindfulness teacher and Montessori-trained educator — but more than any certification, she is someone who knows how to follow a child’s lead and trusts that the land will do the rest.

Weekly Family Meetups
For families with children of all ages
Once a week, the gates of Alo Land open and families come together — to wander, to make things, to share a meal, to let the children run.
There is no fixed agenda. There are animals to visit, trees to climb, projects underway, and usually something growing that wasn’t there last week. Parents stay. Children lead. Conversations happen naturally, the way good conversations do — when nobody is trying too hard.
It is what community feels like when it grows slowly, in the same place, week after week.
