One of our beautiful geese got completely entangled in the fence. For once, she seemed glad to be on our lap and allowed us to take care of her as we slowly and carefully untangled the knots, especially those around one of her legs.

This part of the veggie garden was completely neglected. It needs weeding, debugging, fertilising…we could all that by hand OR we could let the ducks do it and have a feast. They were asking for fresh forage. So we fenced the area and let them have a go.
