The goslings in their new grazing frame, morning vs evening. They eat a lot of grass!The structure is 2.3m * 1m * 0.5m and easily moved around to fresh pasture. We built it from leftover treated lumber from the poultry house frames.

Turkeys above, geese below.Looks like tonight they’ll spend the night together in the same coop. We tried yesterday, but the geese were terrorizing the poor turkeys.Today’s attempt also started with bullying, but then the turkeys realized they can roost....

Goslings free in their own grazing strip for the first time.After a timid first moment, they got right to business eating. They seem happy as long as they have each other and some grass.

We moved the geese to our greenhouse to provide shelter overnight. Their coop is not ready yet and it’s a bit to cold for them, without their feathers.Hopefully, it will provide a good enough predator protection as well

The latest additions to the team: two goslings of unclear breed, about one month old.They seem quite scared, understandably so: first time away from their mama goose and siblings, and in a new unfamiliar place.
