A couple days earlier than expected, the first duckling hatched under the sitting Muscovy.The clue to look was this membrane laying on the coop floor, about a meter from the nest. The new mommy is keeping things tidy 😁

The ducklings spent the day outside for the first time. They seem to like it a lot, but are still passing through the electric fence without any issues, so they’ll have to stay in their enclosure overnight.

Moved the duckling enclosure to a fresh spot. The previous one got seeded and mulched.

Moved the duckling enclosure againThey are getting better and better at destroying all the vegetation and pooping up the spot. They’ll be hopefully soon big enough to not fit through the electric fence any more, so they can graze larger areas.
